Cisco Certified Network Associate Collaboration certification (CCNA Collaboration), is a combination of voice, video, and networking skills. The Collaboration certification is a combination of three previously distinct certification pathways: Routing & Switching, Voice and Video. The demand for collaboration skills has increased with the rise of mobile workers. The CCNA Collaboration certification is the first step to mastering Cisco’s collaboration tools. The CCNA Collaboration certification is often associated with roles such as network video administrator, IP telephony engineer (VoIP), IP network engineer and collaboration tools engineer.
Cisco Certified Networking Associate Collaboration – CCNA Collaboration The Cisco Certified Networking Associate Collaboration CCNA Collaboration certification is for IT professionals who are skilled in IP telephony, video and networking. The CCNA Collaboration certification is role-specific and validates a learner’s ability to meet ever-changing business demands in collaboration technology. Although the CCNA Collaboration certification does not require any formal prerequisites, it is highly recommended that you have some experience with networking, Cisco VoIP, video and teleconferencing.

RecertificationCisco’s Associate-level certifications, including CCNA Collaboration, are valid for three years from the date of certification. Re-certification is possible by passing any Cisco 642-XXX, 300-XXX, or CCIE practical exam.
The Next StepMany learners who have earned their CCNA Collaboration certification opt to continue their career in Collaboration specializations within Cisco. Many will pursue the CCNP Collaboration certification. It consists of four exams.

Some learners may decide to pursue the CCIE Collaboration certification. SPOTO currently does not offer training for the CCNP and CCIE Collaboration exams.
Others may choose to diversify the certifications they hold by pursuing certifications in areas other than Cisco and that complement UC skills. Many certifications are sought after by learners.
